This 3.75 litre, heavy-duty fluid reservoir and insulated drink tube from Kriega is designed to be used with their popular Trail 9 and Trail 18 adventure packs.
As far as fluid pouches go this is as robust and dependable as they come. The reservoir is a dense military spec thermo polyurethane which is 0.4mm thick, double the thickness of most general consumer tubes out there. When it’s time to top up, the pouch can be disconnected from the tube and its wide slide-seal action top is easy to fill but is totally leak-proof. The pouch itself is, of course, reversible for cleaning and drying so it can serve you for many adventures to come.
The dynamically named ‘Hydro-fusion’ tube attached to the pouch is very durable and lightweight and comes with built-in foam insulation to help keep your water cooler in hot climates. At the end of the tube Kriega have installed a clever, ergonomic Surge bite valve that can switch between on and off with a simple twist motion. This also has a protective plastic cover to keep it clean and ready to go.
