The SW-Motech Pro Tankring for Yamaha MT-09 (from 2021) provides a bike-specific mounting solution for PRO tank bags. The tank ring sits on a dedicated adapter screwed securely to the fuel tank, allowing the sliding top ring of the tank bag to be custom-aligned along the guide rail. The magnetic guidance aid from Fidlock technology supports easy positioning of the top ring onto the tank ring, complementing the mechanical QUICK-LOCK latching system. Once aligned, the top ring is fixed in place, and adjustments can be made when transferring the tank bag to another motorcycle. The robust fiberglass-reinforced plastic construction ensures the tank bag remains firmly in place without contacting the tank's paintwork, and the design allows the fuel lid to be opened as usual.
The magnetic guide improves attachment precision while the QUICK-LOCK mechanism secures the bag. The PRO tank ring is designed to match the tank filler neck of the Yamaha MT-09, enabling proper positioning and a stable hold in all riding conditions. The tank ring can be mounted quickly and removed just as easily via pull straps.
