The Garmin Tread Ride Tracker Sat Nav is a rugged GPS designed to keep groups connected and on course during off-road adventures. Boasting group tracking functionality, it can connect up to 20 riders, offering features such as location sharing and pre-defined messaging without the need for mobile phone signal coverage (VHF range). The device's turn-by-turn trail navigation utilises OpenStreetMap (OSM) to guide riders through unpaved roads and trails, enhancing the overall off-road experience.
Built for durability, the Tread features an IPX7 weather-resistant rating and adheres to U.S. military standard 810 for thermal and shock resistance, ensuring its resilience in challenging environments. The 5.5" glove-friendly touchscreen display provides high visibility, even in bright sunlight or dark conditions. Users can easily sync data across devices using the Tread app and benefit from direct-to-device BirdsEye Satellite Imagery downloads without requiring a computer. Installation is facilitated by the included powered mount and wiring harness with a tube mount.
